Montalivet Les Bains Guide
Montalivet Les Bains has a good variation of bars, cafes and pubs
for your evenings out and lazy afternoons. All bars are open until to 2am
in the summer. Great times can be had at the El Loco, La Cuca, Hot Spot and
5M's.
During the winter months the Hotel L' Ocean and PMU bar is open every day
of the week and the Les 5M's for the weekends.
Hot Spot
Take a right up the Rue de Bremontier ( just past the Penelope Night club)
or when coming back from a days soaking up the sun on the beach before knocking
on the Hot Spot's bar door.
The music will get to you as the sounds drift through the bar giving you the
opportunity to massage your legs to the beat. The Spot lives for music, with
sounds ranging from House to Lounge filling the evenings vibe. Here there
is a serious collection to tune your ears..
With the Montalivet musem of beach life as the interior decoration, comfortable
seating and an atmosphere which is relaxing in the early part of the evening,
here is the Hot Spot...The collection of surfing and beach life mebilia including
boards from ex world champions and bathing costumes from the beginning of
the last century are here for you to admire as you enjoy one of the cocktails
from the list written on the base of an old gun.
El Loco
The Live Dj and friends will get the party flowing..... House, acid jazz,
funk, jazz and more. The music through the afternoon and night will flow through
many genres to satisfy all of your taste buds. If you are not dancing on the
tables, chairs or dance floor by the end, order another drink from one of
the bar staff.
During the afternoon the terrace is an ideal place to kick
back on and watch the world floating by as you sip an ice cold Margarita and
talk about the days swell.
Amstel beer on pump and a good collection of bottled beer in the fridge will
bring your taste buds at the right pressure after an afternoon on the sand. Vodka in all shapes and sizes shaken or stired.
"Le Moscow Soleil" is the password... Interior decoration is surf and beach, the good life!
Every Wednesday night during the summer
the bar kicks off with a new theme, Tihiti, jungle and rubbish bag (a classic
night!).
