Papagayo
The Papagayo Restaurant is situated on the Avenue de l' Ocean
in the heart of the village of Montalivet, France. Here you can enjoy a relaxed
family meal at great value prices.
Reopened recently with its new owners; it is an enormous
success. The owner, has ideas: improved lighting, service and terrace. The
chef also has ideas, every day..... This is the place to pass a wonderful
moment.
Open 7 days a week in the summer, the Papagayo Restaurant
is an ideal destination in the village to eat, drink, relax & socialise.
The restaurant offers a spacious, yet intimate environment with warm Mediterranean
flavours, pasta and pizzas and succulent steaks!
Globe Trotter
Owned by Bruno and Christine; a multi talented couple who have been developing
restaurants in the region for the last 8 years. The Globe Trotter, is the
latest formula, with its menu from the four corners of the world and a wine
list to match you have a winner.
Here you are able to do your own bit of "globe trotting"
as you sample the delights from Asia, Europe and South America to name but
a few of the countries.
Two winter seasons in Val Morel have given the "carte" a Savoyarde
Tartiflette which will give you the power for the evenings out in Montalivet.
The crystal clean water and waves of La Reunion will be in your thoughts as
you sit down to a chicken and coconut.... Enjoy the trip!
Drop in at the Globe Trotter for that sun set cocktail on
the terrace or at the bar, hit the right evening during the summer months
and you will find the DJ spinning the decks, the vibe is "endless summer".
Dolce Vita
Across the Avenue de L'Ocean in the village of Montalivet,
a stones throw from the market is the Dolce Vita Pizzeria. Eat here or take
away.
The Dolce Vita is a family pizzeria, run by Thierry, Isa and their daughter
Margo who will make you feel at home with their fast service.
The menu is good value for money and has a full palette ranging
from the salad specialities (Landaise, Chevre Chaud, Super Complete) to a
great line of Pizza's ( try the Fresh Cream: Paysanne, Mais, 3 Fromage, Roquefort
and Curry; fantastic). The ice creams will make your mouth water...
The continental breakfast served on the sun terrace is a great starting block
before heading out to the Montalivet market which happens across the road
each morning in the summer months.
