The Etale is found on the Route de Pleney, Morzine. Head up the hill towards the Pleney cable car. On your right hand side you will see the overhead signs.
The restaurant is spread over two floors; the decoration downstairs is a traditional Savoie set up, with beautiful artefacts spread through the room to the upstairs with its collection of football memory... The signed shirts and scarfs are too numerous to count, take your time and you will take a trip down footballs memory lane...
Pascal (who has run the L'Etale since 1990) will welcome you with wide open arms to his fabulous menu. From hot and cold starters including Foie Gras and local dried meat to home made soups the "entrees" are there.
As for the main courses; a full "cheese menu" including Raclette and Fondue will slow down even the fastest eater, to a meat selection which you will cook on your table, there is nothing that is going to better "La Luge" or "La Broche" for originality and a fat stomach!
The Pizza menu over 2 teams in size and is a respect to the French World Cup Team- so we will not forget.
The service is fast and efficient, book yourself a table in high season, Fridays and Saturdays to avoid disappointments..
