How to get to La Palme
La Palme is situated just off the A9 in the south of France in the Languedoc Roussillon region of the Aude (11). 26kms from Narbonne, 34kms from Perpignan and
80kms from the Spanish boarder. Leave the motorway A9 ( direction Perpignan/ Barcelone) and take the exit 39 for Sigean. At the roundabout follow signs for Port Leucate using the N9 for 5 km where you will find the sign for La Palme on your left.
The nearest main TGV train station is Narbonne which is 30 minutes from the village of la Palme. From there you can take the local train to La Franqui, which is 10 minutes from the village.
If you want to fly, the nearest airoprt is Perpignan, 30 minutes away with Montpellier at 1 hr and Barcelone 2 hours away.
The beautiful 13 c villlage of La Palme is found in the Narbonnais National Park in the heart of the Corbieres Maritimes. This Mediterranean village found on the foot hills of the Pyrenees still holds the majic of time stood still, with its ancient tower, church, doors and ramparts.
