Introduction
Robbie Conder was born in North Yorkshire, England. His father was an army officer and his mother an occupational therapist. Schooled in the UK
At the age of eighteen Robbie moved to North Wales where after work, spent his time exploring the crags and ridges of the Llanberis Pass. By the time he was twenty-one he had moved to France and began seasonal work from jobbing nights in bars, to working as a photographer on the beach of Pampelonne, St Tropez.
In 1999 after working 8 years for Oxbow in France, a change of life style lead him to a year in Morocco with a laptop and digital camera. Here for 12 months, he toured the country and fine tuned his digital workflow from capture to post production. While at the same time writing his story (blog) online and updating at 14kbit/s from his laptop to mobile phone.
Returning refreshed from his travels with new ideas he set about developing his own UK Internet Consulting Company, specialising in website development and optimisation. Over the last 20 years, the same robbieflow.com blog was updated; some years more than others.
In 2021, with the changes coming from the UK Brexit, this company was closed.
To continue he had to get hold of a 2nd nationality, which involved collecting birth certificates, passing the B1 level for french and filling in lots of other forms over a 14 month period. On 24/12/2020 France had a new citizen.
He now lives and works from France.
