    The Dixie Bar of Morzine

The Dixie Bar of Morzine : can be found on the Route de Bourg 50m from the town hall. Over the years the bar has been able to create a special atmosphere, with a mixture of clients from around the globe intermingling between the two separated bars. One mellow; a place to talk and hang out. The other full-on with the vibe to go with it.

The Dixie has pool tables, Internet access and a down stairs games room spread through the bars. With four big screens you have the ideal place to watch the football and rugby which are broardcasted live through the season.

If its live music and apres ski that you are looking for, you will find it here. Live Irish bands from Dublin give the tunes from 6- 8 pm, mixed with the large selection of draft and bottled beers for that "green" moment in the perfect day.

    The Opera Morzine

The Opera: Walk down the long steps, leave your jacket with the "vestry" at the entrance before making your way to one of the two bars.

The Opera is the largest of the two night clubs in Morzine. It is open from 11.00 pm to 5.30 am throughout the winter and summer seasons but doesn’t get going until well after midnight . The club is found on the right hand side of the Route de Pleney as you make your way up from the Tourist Office. The large dance floor is below (with metal cage and stage for the needy!) where you can get into the music of the night. Theme parties through the season will give you the opportunity to get groovy in the foam or break dance on your head..

    Paradis Night Club

The Paradis Night Club: can be found by taking a short walk from the Mayors Office in the lower part of Morzine village. Take the old road to Avoriaz and look out for the sign on your right hand side after 50m.

Franck Weyler (stage name) who was the old owner of the club spent his earlier years as a singer in a French group, where he performed with some of the top French and international artists of his era. Long live the 70's. Paradis Nightclub is open every night in the winter and summer seasons and each weekend throughout the rest of the year from 11.00 pm to 5.30 am, so if its a sing along with friends that you are looking for, take a seat on one of the red leopard skin seats and join in. With its unique decoration from the 1970's, including mirrored walls and under floor lighting, you have found a club where you can pass the later hours of the evening / earlier hours of the morning indulging in some of the more enjoyable aspects of life.
