The island of Sikinos' tranquil atmosphere and unspoiled beauty immediately put us in a relaxed and peaceful state of mind that morning, but is was time to move on if we were going to manage all 10 islands in 10 days.. As we set sail from Sikinos, I couldn't help but marvel at the crystal-clear waters and stunning views around us.
Today was just a short hop across to Ios / Nios but we needed to get in early as places in the harbour at this time of the year are very difficut to come by. So we decided to try and get there in the morning before all the other boats decided to find a place for the night. The crossing was light winds, an easy day,
The Aegean Sea was so calm and beautiful, and the Elvire 3 glided effortlessly through the water. Noah and I lounged on the deck, soaking up the sun and taking in the stunning views of the rugged coastline and crystal-clear waters, while Ian acting as the guide and shared his local knowledge, it was fascinating to learn about the area while enjoying such a relaxing trip.
The rugged landscapes and vast natural wonders are awe-inspiring. From the majestic mountains, countless chapels, olive trees to the crystal-clear waters of the sea, there's so much to take in.
