Beautiful we call the Island of Naxos but after a great breakfast, As the first rays of the summer sun painted the horizon in warm hues and a quick shopping trip to fill up the fridge it was time to move on again.
The gentle rocking of the boat and the distant seagull cries signaled the promise of a perfect sailing day. We hoisted the sails, feeling the breeze catch and propel us towards Delos, an ancient island steeped in history. The sea sparkled under the sun, and our laughter mingled with the sound of waves as we navigated the azure waters.
The wind, a welcome companion, played with our hair as we approached Delos. The remnants of ancient civilizations greeted us, whispering stories of times long past. After exploring the sacred island with our eyes, we set our course for the Island of Renia, a tranquil haven for the night. As Elvire 3 glided through the Aegean, the fading sun painted the sky in hues of orange and pink. Anchoring in the sheltered bay of Renia, we marveled at the starlit sky, sharing stories under its celestial canvas. With the rhythmic lullaby of the waves, we drifted into a peaceful night, grateful for the serenity that only a sailboat under a summer moon could offer.
The next morning we woke to another story, the wind had changed and a storm was coming in from the North. Luckly we were moored up in the old harbour, so hopefully safe from all the options that the gods could throw at us..
